Jennifer has worked in education for over 15 years. She began as an elementary school teacher before becoming a school counselor. In addition, to counseling, she also teaches as an adjunct instructor at a local university. Throughout all of her studies, Jennifer has always had a passion for children’s literature. Her passion for children’s literature began during her undergraduate studies at Brenau University in her children’s literature class, and was reinforced during her doctoral studies at the University of Georgia. As a school counselor, Jennifer uses bibliotherapy when working with students, and loves to incorporate children’s literature when teaching careers and social skills. It was only natural for Jennifer to begin writing and publishing her own children’s books. She hopes her books will inspire others to develop a passion for children’s literature, while simultaneously educating and encouraging them to be their authentic self.
